10 Natural and Effective Remedies To Make Your Hair Grow Back

by Shalini Kapoor Leave a Comment

There is a saying that “hair is the crown of glory”. It is true that having a beautiful mane is a real source of trust for many people. But it’s not always easy to keep your hair shiny every day! What to do if they are tired, or worse, if you start to lose them!? No worries to have if this is the case. We give you 10 totally natural remedies to grow back and strengthen your hair:

1. A Scalp massage

The scalp massage is the first thing you need to do to restore vigor to your hair. Why? Because the pressures exerted stimulate the cells of the dermal papillae which promotes growth while giving thickness to the hair. Combined with oils such as jojoba oil or hair masks, the massage tones the scalp, restores volume and helps hair regrowth. Taking the time to massage your scalp every day also helps to relieve stress and daily tensions.

2. Aloe vera

Aloe vera has long been used to treat hair loss. This substance relieves the scalp and revitalizes the hair. Aloe vera also reduces dandruff and releases hair follicles blocked by excess sebum (oily hair). In addition, the use of this product is very simple. Simply apply pure aloe vera gel directly to the scalp or hair several times a week. Use shampoos and conditioners containing aloe vera.

3. Coconut oil

Coconut oil contains fatty acids that penetrate the inside of the hair shaft, reducing protein loss. Depending on your hair type, coconut oil should be used before or after washing. If your hair tends to be greasy, do a no-rinse treatment overnight or a few hours before washing. To soak the product well, massage the coconut oil onto your scalp and all your hair. If your hair is dry, use coconut oil as a rinse-free treatment as well. You can even make a mask that your hair will love by following this recipe here. Scientific studies have not yet fully demonstrated that coconut oil allows hair regrowth. But one thing is sure and totally proven, coconut oil improves the health and shine of the hair. Besides, hasn’t this oil been used for centuries? That’s a sign, isn’t it?

4. Viviscal

Viviscal is a natural supplement that promotes hair regrowth in people with a sparse skull. This product contains a marine complex called AminoMar C. It is composed of minerals, vitamins, powder and molluscs. These ingredients help regenerate new cells while strengthening existing ones. You should take the pills twice a day for at least six months to see the results. Viviscal also comes in shampoo and hair conditioner.

5. Fish oil

Consuming fatty acids, rich in omega-3, strengthens hair from the inside. These acids are saturated with nutrients and proteins. In addition, taking an omega-3 supplement with antioxidants increases the density and thickness of the hair. Fish oil also helps reduce hair loss. Finally, know that this substance is not only good for your hair, but also very good for general health. Omega-3-rich fatty acids help your cells function properly and strengthen your immunity. Always follow the dosage indicated by the manufacturer.

6. Ginseng

Taking ginseng as a dietary supplement promotes hair growth. This plant indeed stimulates the hair follicles. Ginsenosides, the main active ingredients of ginseng, give it its therapeutic power, which is so necessary for hair. Be careful, however, excessive consumption of ginseng can lead to undesirable effects. Observe the precautions of use.

7. Onion juice

If you can stand the smell of onion juice, we promise you won’t regret it! Onion juice is a solution known to effectively treat areas prone to alopecia (baldness). Its main advantage is to promote hair growth while contributing to better circulation. Scientific studies are categorical! Onion juice increases the production of keratin and increases blood flow to the cuticles. So to grow your hair quickly, just gather a few onions and squeeze them to make the juice. Apply to the scalp as well as to your hair and leave on for at least 15 min. Then wash your hair with your usual shampoo. Discover the tip here.

8. Rosemary essential oil

Rosemary is the essential oil par excellence for regrowing and preventing hair loss. Rosemary essential oil stimulates the regrowth of new hair and treats androgenetic alopecia (baldness). Mix a few drops of rosemary oil with a support oil such as coconut, olive or almond oil. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair and massage well before rinsing. Do this several times a week. Also add rosemary oil daily to your shampoo or conditioner. In any case, do not apply the essential oils directly to the scalp. Always mix them with another carrier oil or shampoo.

9. Geranium Oil

Use geranium essential oil to help regrow hair and stimulate circulation. Mix a few drops of this product with a support oil (coconut, almond, olive oils…) to make a hair mask. You can also add a few drops to your shampoo and conditioner. Geranium essential oil strengthens, moisturizes and regenerates the hair.

10. Lemon juice

Use lemon essential oil or simply freshly squeezed lemon juice to increase the quality of the hair and promote its growth. Lemon essential oil helps maintain a healthy scalp and supports hair growth. Apply fresh lemon juice to your scalp and hair 15 min before shampooing. For the lemon essential oil, dilute a few drops in a support oil (coconut, olive, almond…) and use the mixture as a mask.

More tips Don’t forget that to find beautiful hair, it takes time and be persistent. So please respect the program you set out in the first place. The treatments may take a few months to produce visible results. So feel free to combine as many times as you like the remedies we’ve seen together. To have a voluminous and sumptuous hair, nourish your hair every day. This is especially beneficial if hair loss is related to an emotional problem or stress. More generally, stay positive and adopt the healthiest lifestyle possible; this also acts strongly on the capillary level.
