IS THERE AN EFFECTIVE TREATMENT FOR BALDNESS?

by James Williams Leave a Comment

Is there an effective treatment for baldness?

Baldness affects many people around the world. However, there are effective treatments that can slow or even stop hair loss.

Hair loss is a universal problem that mostly affects younger and younger men. Indeed, two out of three men are victims of it at the age of 50 but this trend is accelerating and affects many subjects from the age of 18. Baldness is the most common form of alopecia.

What is alopecia?

This term refers to abnormal hair loss. When the regrowth is much slower than the fall, we observe little by little bald parts on the scalp. If the problem is often found in the hair, it can however also affect all the body hair in its autoimmune form.

We also talk about baldness that we recognize especially in men with the decline of the frontal implantation, the frontal temporal golf courses and the vertex (the top of the skull).

What causes alopecia?

Several factors can be at the origin of alopecia. In women, for example, it can be caused by hormonal upheaval or stress. Dietary deficiencies as well as certain medical treatments also promote hair loss in both sexes. For some, alopecia is caused by autoimmune diseases.

Genetics also come into play when discussing the causes of alopecia. This hereditary character, which is found in both men and women, is called “androgenetic alopecia” and is explained by a hormonal modification programmed from birth and favored by external factors (drugs, contraceptive pill, etc.).

What to do if you start to lose your hair?

If the problem persists and becomes more important, measures are necessary but fortunately treatments exist today and make it possible to fight effectively against baldness. These new treatments by Bio-therapy require regular sessions that are painless and without side effects on health.

Before any initiative, it is recommended to consult the opinion of a doctor or a specialized center which has new precise diagnostic tools, in particular by camera equipped with follicle counting software.
Once the diagnosis is made, it is preferable to start an adapted and effective treatment as soon as possible to obtain an improvement after a few weeks.

What if the baldness is already advanced? What treatments are there?

  • Surgery or “implants” removes hair from the back to reimplant it on top of the head. Unfortunately the results are often disappointing and the price war in some countries has trivialized an operation that is still very painful and perfectly traumatic.
  • Hair supplements: invisible today, they also allow you to practice all activities. This new generation technique requires a small monthly maintenance but remains the best alternative to find style and density without pain or scars. However, only a specialized center will assure you an undetectable result.
  • Integration volumizers: mainly intended for women, this natural hair integrates perfectly into sparse hair using small clips or fixed by braiding for a natural result and immediate volume. Ideal during a treatment while waiting for the first results of regrowth.
  • Tattooing or micro-pigmentation: this technique for men with baldness consists of giving the shaved appearance by tattooing small dots on the head. Unfortunately the bluish aspect of the injections appears quickly and the artificial aspect also condemns the subject to a single hairstyle.

HAIR LOSS IN WOMEN, A SUBJECT TOO TABOO

Hair loss in women, a subject too taboo

Hair loss in women is a subject that is little talked about. And yet, several solutions can be used to treat this hair condition.

After childbirth, during the change of seasons or for health reasons, women can suffer from alopecia. If hair loss in women is often temporary, you should know that it can become chronic. In all cases, a diagnosis is necessary. This makes it possible to set up an appropriate preventive or curative treatment.

How is hair loss in women?

Can be partial or total, hair loss in women comes in several forms. The most common is common baldness. Also called androgenic alopecia, this hair condition is caused by hormonal imbalances. Hair falls out and grows back thinner and shorter.

The other form of hair loss in women is transient alopecia. Less alarming, this hair loss often follows pregnancy, severe fatigue or illness.

Finally, we can distinguish the long-lasting hair loss which does not affect the entire surface of the head, but only a very distinct area.

What are the main causes of hair loss in women?

Several causes can be at the origin of hair loss in women:

– Iron and vitamin deficiency;
– Stress and anxiety;
– The period ;
– anemia;
– Tiredness ;
– Certain diseases affecting the kidneys or the liver;
– Certain drug treatments;
– Chemotherapy;
– Unsuitability for climate change;
– Breastfeeding;
– psychological shock;
– Hormonal imbalance.

How to treat hair loss in women?

It is above all necessary to carry out an early diagnosis in order to identify the causes of hair loss. In all cases, a rebalancing of the diet is required to nourish the hair. This involves stocking up on iron (red meat, lentils), B vitamins (egg yolk, yeasts, etc.) and sulfur-containing amino acids (mainly in animal proteins).

In addition, stress and anxiety are often the cause of hair loss in women, it is important to lead a healthy lifestyle and listen to your body.

Hair loss persists when it is caused by a disease or a particular treatment. The opinion of a specialist is then crucial. He will ask for a health check to determine the appropriate treatment. He can prescribe food supplements or offer products to fight against alopecia. For example a thermo-stimulating lotion.

What are the advanced solutions to fight against hair loss in women?

Treatments: finally results!

There are now various solutions to fight against alopecia. Among them, the new Bio-Therapies are now giving rapid results without side effects. In effect, many drugs had the drawbacks of impacting blood pressure as well as libido and therefore fertility.

Do not hesitate to consult a specialist accustomed specifically to the treatment of hair loss and Androgenic alopecia.

Photo Bio Modulation (PBM)

This process consists of regenerating hair cells using the electromagnetic spectrum. It involves the use of a device called SPH or Swiss Photon Hair. The goal is to quickly heal hair tissue and restore cell metabolism. Thus, the hair resists falling, the density is greater and hair regrowth becomes normal. This treatment is an interesting alternative to medical care.

Mesotherapy by micro-injection

This treatment is intended for people suffering from androgenic alopecia or heavy hair loss. It takes place in two stages, i.e. two sessions per month. It consists of creating small channels by means of micro-needles, in order to reach the follicular cells and to nourish them with trace elements. This treatment can be combined with Photo Bio Modulation for more efficiency.

Invisible hair supplements

When hair loss is too advanced, it is quite possible to opt for this new technique which consists of adding hair without surgery to sparse or totally bald areas. The process is simple: the finest quality natural hair is injected into an invisible membrane. This membrane is then fixed on the bald area by dermo-fusion, which allows a hold of about 1 month while living normally and practicing all sports activities. Regular maintenance is necessary and gives the whole feeling of returning to the hairdresser to change your style at will.

Anyway, it is strongly recommended to prevent worsening of hair loss by consulting a specialist at the first symptoms.
